Tools and Resources
In addition to the how-to and who-to-contact information you can find elsewhere on this site, Born Free USA offers you free tools and resources you can use to participate in bringing positive changes to your community, your state, and nationwide.
Sample Letters
We have prepared sample letters on a variety of animal issues for your reference, provided in the Rich Text Format that can be opened and edited in most common word processing software, such as Microsoft Word. Remember, a letter in your words will have far more impact than a form letter.
Please note: Although we provide sample letters on a variety of issues, politicians customarily do not count (that is, throw away) letters received in bulk that contain identical wording. To have maximum impact, you should rewrite the sample letter we show you. For this reason, you'll find that in many instances, such as federal legislation, we do not provide a sample letter per se, but instead a list of talking points to help you with facts you can use to argue your position.
Publications and Media
Our brochures, fact sheets, flyers, PSAs, and more all carry the message of respect for wildlife and ways to get along with them. Many of our publications are free, whether as single copies of our Learning to Live with Wildlife brochures or downloadable as Adobe Acrobat PDFs. These free publications are available through our Catalog.
Campaign Materials
Here you'll find supplements to our various campaigns that you can use in your own actions. Here you'll find our downloadable Circus poster and flyer, National Bird Day materials, with much much more to come.
