Romanian Lion Rescue
A lion gazes bleakly through the rusty wire of his cramped cage. Sinbad is only six years old and should be in his prime. But this thin young male is desperately undersized and his teeth are broken and worn.
Sinbad is just 80cm (32") long and 125kg (20st) in weight. That's half the size of a normal lion. Kept on a bare concrete floor, this forlorn lion only has an old log and a car tyre for 'enrichment'. Sinbad lives in Bacau Zoo in eastern Romania. The authorities want a better life for him, but simply do not have the resources.

Stella was implanted with a contraceptive implant on 5th July this year. The implant supposedly takes six weeks to start taking effect but we have already noticed a difference in their behaviour.

The Born Free Foundation is celebrating the successful rescue of 12 elephants in South Africa. Orphaned during South Africa’s elephant culls in the 1980’s, this group of elephants have narrowly escaped death a second time.

SAVE THREE LIONS FROM A FRENCH CIRCUS AND RETURN THEM TO AFRICA!!
"Becks", "Rooney" and "Stevie G" as we affectionately call them are three lions currently held at Circus Ullman, touring near Riberac in the Dordogne, France. They live in a beast wagon that measures approximately 18ft x 6 ft x 8 ft high, divided into 3 compartments. That"s the sum total of their world, a few square feet in a beast wagon.

Liberia) living in peace at Shamwari sanctuary in South Africa. Not quite best buddies yet, but they were only introduced in late February!
