Bill Description: This bill would give exclusive authority to the state wildlife agency to draft and implement laws, rules and regulations affecting how inland fish and wildlife are taken (captured or killed). City and county governments would need to submit any proposed new laws to the state wildlife agency for prior approval.

This bill would prevent cities and towns and their respective conservation commissions from determining which hunting, trapping and other wildlife-related activities are feasible within their borders. The activities that are appropriate in one town or county may not be in the best interests of another.
