Bill Description: If passed into law, this bill would establish a wildlife commission that includes members with environmental and wildlife expertise.

This commission would allow state policy-makers, for the first time, to represent the views of ALL of its citizens instead of simply a few. The current system of wildlife management is designed to serve the minority of the citizenry who engage in wildlife consumption, and it is un democratic. It needs to be modernized. This bill would bring to the table the concerns and interests of those citizens — the majority — who enjoy wildlife for its own sake.
