Worn to be Wild

Recently, our CEO, Will Travers and I traveled to Los Angeles to take part in an intimate benefit for Born Free USA united with API.
[teaserbreak] Hosted by Verona Unique Shoe Store & Accessories in the heart of Studio City, Worn to be Wild introduced the gorgeous, cruelty-free boots, shoes, bags and accessories of St. Francis Couture. New to the design world, St. Francis Couture’s founder, Tere Albanese, is a passionate and committed animal advocate. As a former high school teacher and stylist — and convinced that high fashion and comfort can indeed coexist — Tere’s first line of products is inspired by ‘the spirit of Africa’ and features fabulous animal prints and a signature silver buckle complete with a Swarovski crystal.

Along with invited guests, we enjoyed wine and hors d’oeuvres while shopping among all of Verona’s treasures. In addition to the incredible selection of stylish shoes and bags, Eye Candy Optometry & Eyewear displayed a very chic collection of sunglasses and eyewear.

Proceeds from the evening benefit Born Free USA united with API’s ongoing work to Keep Wildlife in the Wild. St. Francis Couture joins our growing list of Corporate Partners. Be sure to check out all her fantastic products here — especially the kickin’ knee-high boots. I love mine!!

I extend a warm thank you to Tere Albanese, store owner, Rob Kaplan, and Eye Candy Optometry & Eyewear for their compassion and desire to make a difference. If you’re in the Los Angeles/Studio City area, be sure to check out Verona and Eye Candy — and tell them Born Free USA united with API sent you!

Blogging off,

Tracy
