We know that we are not the only organization that many of you support. We know you receive a neverending trail of pleas for help … and being the caring, compassionate souls you are, it places you in a heart-tugging position. The needs are great. The funds keep shrinking, but when a person is moved and guided by a heart full of love, there is always a way.
We at Born Free USA take particular note of the meaning of thanksgiving. We are grateful. Our nation is blessed — even in the midst of a grinding recession — there is always something for which to be thankful — a sunset, a full moon, the sweet songs of the birds.
The forests, prairies, mountains, oceans — all teaming with vibrant life — the unique and irreplaceable beings who breathe the same air as we creates a childlike sense of awe and gleeful joy as we give thanks and celebrate this wonderful time.
Born Free USA came into being in response to a disconnection between man and nature. Somewhere along the way, many of us have lost a sense of connectivity to all life and it is our mission to restore that connection — to heal, protect, and preserve the wild creatures. And in turn all of mankind benefits!
