Thanks to our thousands of supporters in Canada and the United States, Born Free USA has won $12,000 from the Body Shop Foundation! Last month in each country, we finished second in an online and in-store popularity contest that pitted us against two other nonprofit organizations. We received 13,743 votes in Canada and 44,265 votes in the United States. Our winnings, as do all our funds, will go toward our campaigns, advocacy and other efforts to Keep Wildlife in the Wild®.
