Bill description: This bill would prohibit people from owning, keeping or otherwise privately possessing non-human primates without a permit and without complying with specific animal welfare and public safety requirements. At the request of Born Free USA, the bill would exempt sanctuaries accredited by the Global Federation of Animal Sanctuaries.
