In this edition, he speaks out against the illegal trade in tiger parts: “More tigers are kept in private hands in America than remain in all of their historic wild range. This is a species that has suffered a 96 per cent decline in the past century. It is a pitiful indictment of human shortsightedness that the species’ plight has become so critical.”
