Speaking today at The World Bank in Washington, D.C., The Duke of Cambridge, Prince William, spoke out against the illegal wildlife trade. Referencing Born Free USA’s groundbreaking ivory reports, Ivory’s Curse and Out of Africa, Prince William explains: “Recent research on behalf of Born Free USA shows there is a relative concentration of transit points along the supply chain from Africa to Asian consumer markets… If we can identify those transit points, enforce regulation, and cooperate with the private sector, then we can begin to clamp down on illegal wildlife trafficking.”
