Some ‘Faux Fur’ Sold in Stores Comes from Real Animals

Some of the nation’s biggest retailers, including Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom Rack, Belk, Jacadi, and Gilt Groupe, advertise “faux fur.” But, an investigation found that some of the items being sold actually come from the fur of real animals, including rabbits, coyotes, and raccoon dogs. The report used footage from our trapping investigation.
