In honor of World Wildlife Day, Born Free USA has again teamed up with FLOAT Apparel to launch the “Roll for Pangolins” t-shirt design! Did you know that the pangolin is the most illegally-traded mammal in the world—even more than elephants or rhinos? All eight species of pangolins (four in Africa and four in Asia) are threatened, and one pangolin is killed in Asia every single hour. The pangolin’s only defense is to roll into a ball, which actually makes it easier for humans to simply pick up. For one week only (running through Sunday, March 8), FLOAT will sell limited-edition t-shirts bearing the bold statement: “Don’t Let Pangolins Roll Away Forever!” For each t-shirt sold, FLOAT will donate $8 to Born Free USA.
