Roberts, CEO of Born Free USA and Born Free Foundation, and Claudio Sillero, Born Free Foundation’s Head of Conservation, examine how Born Free is addressing wildlife rescue needs in Ethiopia. After two decades supporting wildlife conservation in Ethiopia, and at the invitation of the Ethiopian Wildlife Conservation Authority (EWCA), Born Free established Ensessakotteh: a 77-hectare animal rescue center on the outskirts of Addis Ababa. In addition to animal rescue, Ensessakotteh has visitor access and wilderness zones, and is managed as a conservation area.
