Denmark’s Odense Zoo plans to dissect a lion in front of children, undeterred by the international outrage that hit Copenhagen Zoo after the public dissection of a giraffe named Marius last year. This lion was euthanized nine months ago because the zoo claims it had too many lions, and the animal has since been kept in a freezer. A zookeeper at Odense Zoo explains that the dissection is meant for educational purposes.
