Speaking Out against Ivory in Massachusetts

This Sunday, October 18, the Global March for Elephants and Rhinos will take place in Boston (among many other cities worldwide). The march comes at a convenient time, as two bills are currently pending that would ban the sale of ivory products in Massachusetts. Listen to a radio interview with Adam M. Roberts, CEO of Born Free USA and the Born Free Foundation, in which he explains: “We really have to look at closing down our domestic markets here in America. At the same time, we’re advocating doing so around the world—and Boston is one of the important entry points into America for illegally acquired ivory.”
