After the release of Finding Nemo, sales of orange-and-white striped clownfish shot up as “Nemo” became a popular pet. Now, marine biologists are afraid that people will want blue tangs like “Dory” after the new movie, Finding Dory, hits theaters June 17. Unlike clownfish, which are relatively easy to breed, blue tangs don’t breed or survive well in tanks—and they’ll be snatched out of the wild, endangering fragile coral reefs.
