One Year after Cecil’s Death, Plight of Lions Continues

A year after the killing of Cecil the lion in Zimbabwe, conservationists say that Africa needs an annual budget of at least $1.25 billion to save the lion. The money is required to protect lions’ natural habitat from human encroachment: an effective way of maintaining populations.
