Along with 424 other national, state, and local conservation groups from all 50 states, Born Free USA has signed onto a letter to Senate and House leadership demonstrating support for the Endangered Species Act (ESA) and opposition to any weakening of the ESA under the guise of efforts to “modernize” or “reform” it. As the letter states: “efforts to rewrite this law would prove disastrous for imperiled wildlife and should be strongly opposed.”
