Rescued African gray parrots in Cameroon

Born Free provided support for the rescue, rehabilitation, and release of 700 wild-caught African gray parrots confiscated by government authorities in Cameroon, Africa, and turned them over to our friends at the Limbe Wildlife Center. We also created an online petition urging the South African government to immediately halt all future imports of wild-caught African gray parrots as South Africa has become an important hub for the international trade in wild-caught birds.
