On Wednesday, June 30, Born Free USA hosted a virtual gala to benefit the south Texas primate sanctuary, home to more than 400 monkeys. Born Free USA Honorary Council member, film actor, serial entrepreneur, founder of MONKEYmedia, Eric Bear, hosted the conversation with Born Free USA CEO, Angela Grimes, and Programs Director and head of the primate sanctuary, Dr. Liz Tyson. The event also featured special guests 11-year-old author and animal advocate, Kate Gilman Williams, and wildlife photographer, Faizel Ismail, and an interview with Born Free USA’s inspiring Co-founder, Virginia McKenna OBE!
