Gorgeously Green

in Spotlight

Gorgeously Green, the new book by Sophie Uliano, longtime friend to Born Free, will hit bookstores April 8, and provides readers with simple steps to make their lives more “green.” After all, green is the new black! With a forward by actor and activist, Julia Roberts, Gorgeously Green is a must-have for any gal making environmentally positive changes in her life. And Ms. Roberts isn’t the only celebrity hip to Sophie’s tips. Oprah will soon welcome Sophie to her talk show. Be sure to check your local listings.
[teaserbreak] Recently, Sophie chatted with Born Free USA’s CEO, Will Travers, and had this to say: “In eight simple steps, my book Gorgeously Green shows every woman how to change the color of her life from grey to green. It also encourages readers to become aware of how we treat wild animals, especially those in captivity. I want to introduce women to important organizations that I support like Born Free, who are successfully making a difference, protecting the lives of many gorgeous animals. Earth-friendly living — it’s about compassion for every animal on this planet!”

In addition to her book, Sophie’s website gorgeouslygreen.com features blogs, tips, and information on a variety of subjects from beauty and travel to food and retail shopping. And speaking of shopping, one of Sophie’s new favorites is also an old friend to Born Free USA — PositiviTee, a clothing company with a conscience. Made from organic eco-fibers, PositiviTee’s T-shirts are not only “green,” but its new Wisdom T-shirt features a gorgeous elephant and 10 percent from each Wisdom T-shirt sold benefits Born Free USA.

Make the commitment today to color your world a bit greener and remember that being green also includes every color of animal. Show that you’re a compassionate conservationist by supporting Born Free USA’s work to protect wildlife. It’s the gorgeous thing to do!
