The Born Free USA Primate Sanctuary is a source of great pride for all our employees. We love the fact that we are providing direct, hands-on care to more than 500 animals who will live the rest of their lives in as natural conditions as we can provide. Our 186-acre sanctuary provides the monkeys — many of whom were rescued from science-laboratory cages or had been neglected and abused “attractions” in roadside zoos — with ample room to roam and socialize with other members of their species. It’s only because of you that we can operate this wonderful sanctuary. It costs a lot of money to provide nutritious food and appropriate shelter, and every donation makes a difference.
