Baby Elephant Wrapped in Poacher’s Snare Saved by Herd

in Animal News

The elephant fled, but continued to drag the metal wire behind him. However, instead of leaving the young animal to fend for himself, the other members of the herd kept the pace of the wounded calf, and even stepped in to help him on his way.
