Born Free Foundation recently released a statement regarding the Dehiwala Zoo in Sri Lanka, noting the poor conditions and potential animal welfare concerns. In addition, Born Free Foundation said that it is willing to work with the government of Sri Lanka to implement changes within the zoo.
