On July 1, 2015, 13-year-old Cecil the lion was lured out of Hwange National Park in Zimbabwe and killed by an American trophy hunter. However, Cecil’s legacy lives on with the help of lion Jericho, who now rules Cecil’s pride. Cecil’s seven cubs are all alive and well.
