Slow Loris Had Teeth Ripped Out so Tourists Could Take Selfies

A Bengal slow loris in Thailand had his teeth removed so that he could be used as a photo prop for tourists. The loris, named Boris by his rescuers, also had his other teeth clipped, suffered a broken wrist, and was covered in ticks. Sadly, stories of wild animals being abused and even killed for the sake of photos are all too common. This story follows two recent cases of a rare sea turtle and a blue shark that were pulled from the sea, abused, and then killed so tourists could take pictures.
