Takara, a snow monkey, arrived at the Born Free USA Primate Sanctuary in December 2015 from a zoo. For nearly a year, we monitored her adjustment and interactions with others. Then, last week, we left her door open to allow Takara to enter our 56-acre snow monkey enclosure for the first time.
