June 5, 2013 Dayton, OH A 7-foot alligator has been confiscated and its owner faces animal cruelty charges after it was found caged in a plastic box in an Ohio basement. Vets stated that the alligator was severely undernourished, has damaged teeth and bone disease from lack of sunlight after being kept away for 15 years.
