October 5, 2012 Long Island, NY A 4-foot alligator was found roaming free in a supermarket parking lot. The day before, another 3-foot alligator was found inthe same parking lot. Police were able to catch both alligators and turned them over to the Nassau County Emergency Services Unit. From there, theywill be sent to a suitable sanctuary in Florida.
