July 14, 2007 Norfolk, VA A 1-year-old red panda, Yin, escaped from her enclosure at the Virginia Zoo for the second time in under a month. Yin was found in a tree not far from her exhibit. An animal pest company retrieved the alligator and he was being held at Animal Control along with another alligator that belonged to the same person. July 12, 2007 Newmarket, ON Suzy, Bunny, and Minny, elephants from the Garden Brothers Circus, escaped from their pens after the electric fence keeping them enclosed was accidently disabled. July 4, 2007 Crossville, TN State and federal investigations were underway to determine how three tigers, a lion, a black leopard, a cougar, and a brown bear ended up in a Cumberland County gorge on property advertised as a romatic getaway in a wildlife canyon. June 26, 2007 Duluth, MN Four rare white tiger cubs died at the Zoo Dynamics facility. The tiger cubs’ possessor claimed that they did not die as a result of care or zoo condtions.
