March 3, 2017 Jackson, MI While investigating a home, police found a 4-year old boy with severe burns from a blowtorch and several exotic animals, including an alligator and snakes. The conditions inside the home were unlivable, with exposed wiring, floors stained with excessive amounts of urine and feces, and a vandalized furnace and water heater that were pumping carbon monoxide into the bedrooms. The Cascades Humane Society temporarily took in the alligator. Reptiles
