Summary:

On Tuesday, July 30, 2019, a woman driving home from work in Oceola Township in Michigan spotted a gator scurrying across the road in front of her vehicle, according to a news release from the Livingston County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies found the 2-foot-long, 10-pound creature a few feet from the road near a pine tree and captured it safely. It’s been turned over to the Livingston County Animal Shelter and will be taken to the Critchlow sanctuary if not claimed.
