Summary:

The owner of Franklin Drive Thru Safari in central Texas was just charged for the failed sale of a giraffe, along with a Texas woman who got in trouble because of her “house full of tigers.” Jason Charles Clay, the safari owner, and Trisha Denise Meyer were both charged with misapplication of fiduciary property, reports news station KWTX.

Authorities were alerted to the pair after the giraffe buyer said she never received the animal after paying for the transaction in 2018. The giraffe was valued at $30,000 to $150,000. Meyer was arrested in California in October for selling an endangered jaguar cub that the owner later abandoned. She was transferred to the Robertson County Jail at the end of November.
