Summary:
According to a citation from the U.S. Department of Agriculture, zookeepers failed to provide adequate veterinary care to a tiger (Trini) who had been diagnosed with, and treated for, a broken tooth and mouth ulcers
in mid-April 2013. On May 23, Trini was observed to have an unsteady, abnormal gait, but zookeepers did not report it to a veterinarian or follow up regarding her previously-diagnosed problems.
