Summary:

Fodder, an 11-year-old Thomson’s gazelle, escaped from his enclosure and spent a night in the loose before being tranquilized and recaptured. He broke his jaw during his time out and underwent surgery to repair it. He was found dead in his stall after undergoing a second jaw surgery later that week.
