Summary:

An Endangered vulture was just found dead under ‘unusual circumstances.’

Together with the escape of a clouded leopard and the discovery of holes that appeared to be cut into the perimeter fences of the clouded leopard and langur enclosures, the deceased vulture is the third alarming incident to occur at the Dallas Zoo just this month.

The lappet-faced vulture, named Pin, appears to have died from a suspicious wound, which may suggest that someone intentionally killed the animal. Officials are offering a $10,000 reward for any information.

The zoo has not yet released any other information regarding how Pin may have gotten the wound. They contacted Dallas police to investigate and are not able to give any more details due to the ongoing investigation.
