About the Global Nature Recovery Investment Initiative
The Global Nature Recovery Investment Initiative aims to bring about the changes needed to protect people and wildlife around the globe by encouraging international bodies and national governments to prioritize financial investment in nature recovery and protection. Through this initiative, we aim to:
✓ Secure international and national commitments to biodiversity protection and animal welfare;
✓ Reform and realign the way nature recovery is financed;
✓ Develop and implement solutions to mitigate the effects of climate change and restore ecosystems;
✓ Promote public and animal health, sustainable livelihoods, and food and societal security.
