Mudpuppy was launched in 1992. From an early specialization in puzzles, Mudpuppy expanded to its current offering of puzzles, games, and toys for children and the young at heart. The McEvoy Group, a media company based in San Francisco, acquired Mudpuppy in March 2012. The hardworking small team of 25 behind Mudpuppy is based in New York City. Mudpuppy believes in creating toys that help children spend less time in front of screens and enjoy imagination and creative play. Their products are sold at specialty retailers, local gift and toy stores, major chains, and online. Mudpuppy has won over 200 awards and has been featured in magazines such as O: The Oprah Magazine, Parents, Martha Stewart Living, and many more.
