Summary:
Two dogs belonging to a family were both caught in leg-hold traps on public land. The dogs were released by the trapper 24 hours after being caught and made their way home. The younger mastiff puppy made her way home within three hours and despite having to part of her foot amputated, she will survive. The older Brittany did not come home for 3 days after being released and had to be put down.
