Summary:
An 8 year old yellow lab, Molly Rose, was leashed and on a routine walk with her owner when she was caught in an illegal body grip trap. One of the men responsible for setting the illegal trap works as an animal control officer for Seneca Falls, NY. Both men are contracted by Seneca Falls Town Supervisor Gregory Lazzaro for animal nuisance control.
Result:
James W. Brown, 80, and Clint K. Moosman, 53, both of Seneca Falls, were arrested and charged them with setting body-grip traps larger than 6 inches and failing to identify the traps. They will appear in court on Feb. 10, and Feb. 12, 2016. The maximum fine for each ticket is a $250 fine and/or 15 days in jail.
