Creed

Creed was rehomed from animal experimentation into the care of Born Free USA's primate sanctuary in May 2018. Having never before walked on grass or earth, Creed was at first reluctant to leave his transport crate and explore his new, naturalistic enclosure, but he gradually grew more confident.

Creed arrived at the sanctuary with Oscar. The two monkeys live together and have formed a strong bond. Within days of their arrival, they were spotted grooming each other; an important form of primate social interaction. The pair are now known as inseparable, loveable rabble-rousers and will take a great interest in what is going on around them. This might include shouting at caregivers if they see them carrying another monkey to the clinic, or excitedly egging on disputes between other monkey social groups. Life at the sanctuary is very entertaining for these two boys, who are always on the go!

If you adopt Creed, consider also adopting Oscar, his best friend!
